Pauline Tesler Bar Complaint

Only in my dreams.

Luckily in California anyone can file a Bar complaint about any attorney. That's why when Jeffrey Kaufman told us he was helping my ex defraud the court I filed a bar complaint. Actually I filed two. (He was sooo nice to me when he was being investigated.) I have a letter he wrote to Jim (no, of course I am not supposed to have it), I should have sent that in with the complaint. Even my attorney sent in a letter about Kaufman. Apparently that is unheard of.

So people write and ask if I am going to file a bar complaint against her. Well, no. If being manipulative and stuck in psychobabble were ethics violations, God knows how many lawyers in California would be dead meat. I don't know her, and beating collaborative law into the heads of lazy, greedy family law attorneys isn't a crime.

What she does to her clients is a different story. I could follow up on the contacts I have, but I don't care enough to. I know she has been taken to fee arb, has some VERY unhappy clients who say her collaborative persona drops in a heartbeart - she's really a hard nosed litigator with a phony cult status - so what else is new? She sounds like Tom Cruise on shrooms, but let her clients bar complaint her.

I just present the facts and my opinion of them.

Oversight - keep them under control and the abuse stops. Let them go on and on and you will see the charlatans win. Zimbardo had it right. No oversight leads to corruption.

Pauline screwed you? Do something about it! Don't write me and complain. Write the CA State Bar. You can make a difference. I promise. My complaint got someone suspended. IT CAN HAPPEN. But only if you act.

(I actually have friends who are lawyers, though reading this blog you might not know it. I talk to them several times a week. I ONLY go after the bad apples. The good ones are incredible - minds like steel traps, and more pro bono work than the Tesler, "No free consultation" - oh please - Pauline GREED Tesler who would expect anything else?)

Oh Melanie, I wish desperately too to understand what is going on in this blog. It has almost nothing to do with positive psych does it? I keep coming back to legal ethics.

Ok, you got me...I have things to say, I say them. These are all by me (see my response to you), they are in no order, and they probably make no sense.

Therefore, let me admit it - YOU ARE SO PERCEPTIVE! Thanks for being the one to point it out. I was waiting for someone to do it and you did.

I don't want to change the title of the blog - but here is a clue to my randomness. I am putting together a collection for a book. Some of the blog posts will be in there.
